On 25 September, THE HOTEL HIGASHIYAMA KYOTO TOKYU, A Pan Pacific Hotel, which is managed by TOKYU HOTELS & RESORTS CO., LTD. (THR), became the first THR property to obtain certification from the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC), an international non-profit organisation that establishes and manages sustainability standards worldwide. This is a third-party certification based on the GSTC Standards for sustainable tourism.
